How fortunate I was to have chosen Warren
Those many years ago
I knew we would have a good life but
Really, how does one ever know
His enthusiasm, energy, humor, strength, gentleness
And his depth of mind
I saw it all, fell in love and knew a good
Life we would find
Oh, there were some rough times that gave
Our hearts a tug
The children, grand children, great-grand children
And soon to be more
What fun you have all given me, heaps of
Joy galore
I often wonder did you children love your
Childhood, are your memories as nice as mine?
Did things usually work out for you?
If asked would you say, yes just fine
God has been so good to me throughout
These 80 years
I want you to know I am at peace
I honestly have no fears
I am so proud of all of you, so pleased
I am your ma ma – grandma
And as my grandmother used to say when
Things became too much – Uff Da
